Logistics is a huge part of selling your own private product, but it can also be one of the most confusing! Hickory Flats offers years of experience in shipping end export from several continents, as well as experience in import and logistics in the United States. We use the motto of “measure twice, cut once” in our logistics approach, meaning we spend a lot of time researching the best shipment options for every individual operation. We use diligence in correct import/export procedures, and we partner with reliable and tested shippers to make sure that your goods are in safe hands.
Hickory Flats moves a large amount of volume, so we can offer great rates and reliable service. We strive to offer the safest, most efficient options for land, sea, and air!
Why ship with us?
A. Experience: We stay up to date on the ins and outs of the technical and complex shipping world. Our team has years of experience to make sure that your goods get where they are supposed to go, with as much safety as possible.
B. Flexibility: We offer options for LCL, Full containers, Air Freight, and Air Express. We look at your individual needs and suggest the best options for you.
C. Local Access: With team members in more than 10 countries, we can offer hands-on service at the point of export, as well as the point of import. Most shipping companies are strong in one location but not the other. We also assume responsibility for the operations at both ends, and our ability to micromanage and communicate with everyone from supplier to Amazon FBA, we can assure the best service possible from start to finish.
D. Consolidation: With our volume, we can save you money! We send air and ocean shipments so frequently from China, that we can combine your goods with other client’s goods. This creates larger individual shipments, which reduce costs and allows for more safety than many small shipments. We also frequently consolidate multiple LCL loads into one full container load, reducing handling at ports and usually offering faster passage of goods to the final location.
How to get a shipping quote?
Use the Survey below
and provide the following information for the fastest responses.
- Location of goods (FOB port or supplier)
- Total number of Cases
- Weight, Size, and Pcs per Case of each carton
- Preferred Speed (Air express, Air freight, ocean?)
- Where are the goods going? If USA FBA, we prefer to send to our warehouse in the USA, then set up the shipment in your account and send from here. It usually costs less as we can consolidate, and also allows us to visually inspect shipment after the trans-pacific passage.
- Any special requests? Do you need FBA prep, long term storage, or split shipping?
We look forward to letting you know how we can help you today!
